Hotel giant takes over Moore Place as part of expansion plans
THE UK’S largest hotel management company has taken over the running of Moore Place Hotel in Aspley Guise.

The hotel will continue under its Best Western brand as part of the agreement signed by BDL Management with hotel owner Conference Hotels.
The deal is part of BDL’s plans to almost double its hotel portfolio to more than 75 over the next three years. The firm already manages more than 40 throughout the UK, including the Ramada Encore, Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express brands.
Managing director Stewart Campbell said: “This takeover continues our successful expansion across the UK and solidifies our credentials as first-rate hotel operators.”
All current staff will continue at the 63-bedroom hotel. BDL has been tasked with maximising the potential of the 18th-century Georgian former manor house.
Conference hotels director Roger Vickers said: “BDL was chosen to operate the hotel after careful and detailed assessment. We believe they are best placed to maximise sales, control costs and protect our investment in the current tough competitive environment and into the future. We are looking forward to a very successful and long-term relationship.”
