IoD confirms merger of Milton Keynes and Buckinghamshire branches
THE Milton Keynes branch of the Institute of Directors is to merge with its Buckinghamshire counterpart to create a more powerful combined group.

The new branch, which replaces the two former branches at the end of May, will total more than 1,200 members.
However, the combined branch is to set up a sub-group focused specifically on Milton Keynes that will host events relevant to the city, as well as encouraging North Bucks members to join other IoD Buckinghamshire events and work more closely with members elsewhere in the county.
IoD Buckinghamshire branch chairman Alex Pratt (pictured) said: “The Milton Keynes and Buckinghamshire IoD branches are combining so as to create sufficient critical mass to enable more and better opportunities for our members to grow, develop and make more of a difference locally.”
