VW staff back Children in Need appeal
STAFF at Volkswagen Financial Services has gone all out for this year’s Children in Need appeal after the company volunteered to act as one of the official call centres for Children in Need night on November 18.

More than 150 local employees from VWFS will be manning the phones at the company’s headquarters in Blakelands taking telephone donations for this year’s Children in Need appeal.
The 2011 appeal has the tagline ‘Show us your spots’ and the VWFS staff will be getting into the spirit of things by making the building - and themselves - as spotty as possible.
VWFS joint-managing director Lisa Stacey (pictured on the left with colleagues and Children In Need mascot Pudsey Bear) said; “Since it started, the BBC Children in Need appeal has helped raise over £600 million for worthy causes and everyone at Volkswagen Financial Services is delighted to have the opportunity to help make this year another success story.”
VWFS staff will also be raising money on site throughout the build-up period with bake sales, raffles, casual dress days and a competition to guess how many balloons are in the back of five VW brand cars which will all have been decorated in spots matching the colour of Pudsey.
BBC Children in Need now funds more than 2,000 charities across the UK.
