MKWeb founder dies

DEBBIE Sellers, a much loved advocate for the new city and one of the founders of the MKWeb city information website has died aged 54 after a 18-month battle against cancer.

Debbie worked with more than 500 public, private and community groups across the city to help create MKWeb, which was named in 2009 as the UK Community Website of the Year. 

Her husband Tony said: "Debbie will be remembered for her passion for Milton Keynes and for her warm and open personality that endeared her to everyone who met her."

She also leaves two sons. 

The funeral will take place on October 26, at 1.15pm at Milton Keynes Crematorium.
