Airkix opens new £4.4m complex
AIRKIX, which opened its first indoor skydiving simulator in Milton Keynes, has unveiled a new £4.4 million simulator and leisure complex in Manchester.

The new centre at Trafford Quays leisure Vilage is expected to attract 55,000 people each year and has created 20 new jobs.
Chief executive Simon Ward (pictured) said: “Simulated skydiving is a fantastic sport both for absolute beginners and experienced jumpers. The Airkix Manchester site represents a major expansion of our business and we are very excited by this prospect.”
The expansion has been helped by a £2.5 million loan facility from Royal Bank of Scotland.
RBS relationship director Phil Taylor said: “Airkix is a highly successful, innovative business and has been very successful in turning its site at Xscape, Milton Keynes into a major visitor attraction.
"It has a very strong management team and is ambitiously growing its operations in the UK. We are delighted to be supporting a growing business.”
